Job Description:
Our digital wellness company is looking for a social media intern to support the digital media staff in the development and implementation of outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement and increase revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
- Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands on various social media websites
- Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos, images, contests, product posts, quotes, stories, etc. on social media,
- Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
- Support marketing team at live and online event(s)
- Perform social media marketing research
- Assist with influencer campaign strategy
- Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms
- Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing or a related field such as Advertising or Journalism
- Experience in paid search or paid social media placements is a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- An understanding of mental health, mental wellness, or psychology is a plus
- Experience with the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, and Google Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance is a plus
- Working knowledge of Canva is preferred but not required
- Keen attention to detail and a mature approach to communication; the ability to think strategically and creatively about solving business problems; and flexibility
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
